iQOO prepares to launch the Neo 11 Ultra in China, featuring a pioneering F2 luminescent 2K display with peak brightness of 2,000 nits, alongside a massive 9,100mAh battery and high-performance specs.
iQOO is preparing to unveil the Neo 11 Ultra in China on August 18, with the handset joining the iQOO Z11S at launch and both going on sale the same day. The device is already open for pre-order on the company’s website, while recent listings and company teasers have filled in much of the specification sheet ahead of the formal announcement.
The headline feature is a flat 2K display built around what iQOO says is F2 luminescent material, a claim the company says is a first for any smartphone panel. iQOO also says the screen can reach 2,000 nits of peak brightness across the entire display, with a 98% first-frame brightness ratio aimed at improving outdoor visibility. The panel is also said to use less than 5% harmful blue light, support a minimum brightness of 1 nit and include a new circular polarised light 2.0 system for more natural light output.
The broader display story suggests iQOO is treating the Neo 11 Ultra as a premium mid-range handset with an emphasis on visibility and eye comfort. A separate pre-launch report said the phone may use a 6.83-inch screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 9500M chipset, while the company’s own teasers describe a 3D flowing light effect on the back, a matte-finish metal frame and a 9.13mm profile with rounded corners. iQOO has also said the display should be 24% more power efficient than earlier generations of its phones.
Battery capacity is another notable selling point. iQOO has confirmed a 9,100mAh battery, which would place the Neo 11 Ultra among the larger-capacity mainstream smartphones if the figure holds at launch. China Telecom’s listing pointed to multiple RAM and storage variants, including 8GB and 16GB models with up to 512GB of storage, plus colour options translated as Light White, Shadow Black and Wind Chaser. The launch will show how much of this specification list survives intact, but the outline already points to a phone built around endurance, brightness and a very large display.
