Lenovo unexpectedly launches the LOQ Tower 17IRH11 earlier than planned, offering mainstream gamers higher upgradeability and performance in a compact chassis, though with regional pricing variances.
Lenovo has quietly put a new budget gaming desktop on sale in a range of markets, bringing the LOQ Tower 17IRH11 to customers earlier than expected. The machine was shown in August and had been pencilled in for a November launch, but Notebookcheck reports that it is already available in multiple countries. Lenovo says the system is aimed at mainstream gaming, streaming and general multitasking, rather than high-end enthusiast use.
The compact tower uses a 17-litre chassis measuring 376 x 280 x 170mm and weighing about 8.2kg, according to Lenovo’s product specification sheet. Buyers can choose Intel Core 200-series processors, including the Core 5 205H and Core 7 230H, along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics. Lenovo’s press material also highlights support for DLSS 4.5 and tool-free access for upgrades, signalling a design that is meant to be easy to service and expand.
Memory and storage options are fairly modest but flexible for the class. Lenovo lists configurations of up to 32GB of DDR5 memory, while storage can be expanded across multiple drives, with support for two 1TB SSDs and an additional hard drive bay in some configurations. The product page also points to Wi-Fi 7, USB 10Gbps connectivity and two PCIe slots, although Lenovo notes that not every configuration will be sold in every region.
Pricing, however, appears less aggressive in Europe than Lenovo originally suggested. Notebookcheck says Eurozone prices are noticeably higher than the company had planned, even though the LOQ Tower 17IRH11 remains positioned as an entry-level gaming PC. That leaves it competing in a crowded segment where value, upgradeability and graphics performance will matter more than premium features.
