Lenovo quietly introduces the V15 Gen 6 AMN, a 15-inch business notebook featuring AMD processors, a numeric keypad, and promising extended battery performance, targeting hybrid and business users.
Lenovo has quietly expanded its V series with the V15 Gen 6 AMN, a 15-inch business laptop built around AMD processors and an integrated numeric keypad. According to Notebookcheck, the model has been listed in Lenovo’s PSREF database and is already on sale in Germany and Austria, while other markets show it as forthcoming.
The new machine is positioned as the AMD counterpart to Lenovo’s recent V14 Gen 7, V15 Gen 7 and V17 Gen 7 models based on Intel Wildcat Lake chips. Lenovo’s own product pages describe the V15 Gen 6 as a device aimed at productivity and multitasking, with support for Ryzen processors, collaboration features and configurable memory for business users and hybrid workers.
Battery claims, however, need careful reading. Notebookcheck says Lenovo’s own testing points to more than 18 hours of operation, yet the PSREF specification sheet for the same model lists far lower official results: up to 7.28 hours in MobileMark 30 at 250 nits and up to 11.65 hours of video playback. The hardware does include a 47Wh battery and rapid charging support, with Lenovo stating that a 65W adapter can take it to 80% in about an hour.
The series is also being offered with a range of AMD Ryzen options, including Ryzen 7 170, Ryzen 5 150 and Ryzen 3 110, alongside integrated Radeon graphics. LaptopMedia says the configuration range extends to a 15.6-inch Full HD display, up to 32GB of memory and up to 1TB of SSD storage, underlining Lenovo’s familiar formula for affordable, scalable office laptops.
