Motorola’s Moto G77 is being positioned as a sharply priced mid-range option in its 8GB/256GB Black Olive configuration, with HWUpgrade putting the handset at €246.75. That price matters because the model combines hardware more often seen in more expensive phones: a large high-refresh display, a 108-megapixel main camera, 5G support and a battery built for long use.
The display is a 6.78-inch pOLED panel with a 1.5K Super HD resolution of 1,272 by 2,772 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness claimed at up to 5,000 nits. Gorilla Glass 7i is used for protection. According to the product details, the screen specification is one of the phone’s strongest selling points, especially for buyers who value brightness and smooth scrolling over premium build materials.
Imaging is led by a 108MP main sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, optical image stabilisation and 9-in-1 pixel binning, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a field of view of about 119-120 degrees. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400, an octa-core chip with two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processor. The battery is rated at 5,100mAh in HWUpgrade’s report, with 30W TurboPower charging and a claimed endurance of up to 37 hours.
