Noise has launched the Master Buds Open, its first open-ear wireless earbuds featuring Sound by Bose tuning, marking a notable shift in its audio offerings and embracing the growing trend of open-ear design focused on user awareness and comfort in India.
Noise has expanded its Master series with the Master Buds Open, its first open-ear wireless earbuds and the company’s latest product with “Sound by Bose” tuning. The model was first shown at IFA Berlin and is now being rolled out in India, where it sits below the brand’s more premium audio offerings and reflects a broader move into open-ear listening, a format designed to keep users aware of their surroundings while they listen. According to reporting from Gadgets 360 and Hindustan Times, the launch marks Noise’s entry into the open-ear category as it extends the Master line beyond its in-ear and over-ear products.
The earbuds use a 10.8mm custom dynamic driver and Noise says Bose has co-developed six EQ presets alongside its Dynamic EQ system. The company claims this combination is intended to deliver balanced sound with firmer bass, clearer mid-range detail and more controlled highs. That positioning is notable because open-ear earbuds generally trade some isolation for comfort and awareness, so the tuning has to work within a less sealed acoustic design.
Noise has also focused on wearing comfort. The Master Buds Open weigh 5.5g each, according to the company, and are shaped to sit outside the ear canal rather than inside it. That approach is meant to reduce pressure during long listening sessions and let ambient sound pass through more naturally. The design, shown in black, bronze and gold finishes at the original unveiling, includes a stemmed form factor with a circular acoustic section and a visible “Sound by Bose” marking on the outer housing, according to Gadgets 360.
For calls, Noise says the earbuds include four microphones with ENC and DNN processing to reduce background noise and make speech clearer. They also support Bluetooth 5.4 and dual-device connectivity, allowing users to switch between two paired devices more easily. Noise’s own product listing adds AI assistant support and says the earbuds are available for pre-booking with a ₹3,000 discount, while Gadgets 360 reports that open sale is scheduled for October 23. The starting price in India is listed at ₹7,999, placing the model in the upper end of the mid-range segment for true wireless audio.
