Oppo Find X10 packs flagship cameras and multi-day battery into a restrained design

Oppo’s €1,299 Find X10 pairs dual 200-megapixel cameras, a 7,150mAh battery and a 6.59-inch 144Hz display in a more compact flagship package.

Oppo’s Find X10 arrives as a more restrained flagship than the larger Find X10 Pro Max, but that does not make it a lesser device. Frandroid says the compact model inherits a sizeable set of upgrades over the previous Find X9, spanning its industrial design, display, chipset, camera hardware and battery. Oppo has clearly positioned it as a serious premium handset rather than a pared-back variant, with pricing in France set at €1,299 for the 12GB/256GB model.

Physically, the Find X10 keeps much of the same overall language as its predecessor, although Oppo has made a few careful changes. Frandroid notes that the square camera island remains, but the flash now sits outside the main block and is protected by a transparent glass panel. The handset is offered in grey, light blue and salmon, with a matte glass back that resists fingerprints. Even so, the device is not especially light or slim for its class, weighing 216g and measuring 8.35mm thick. It also carries aluminium framing, an IP68/IP69 rating and Gorilla Glass Victus 2, underlining its premium, durability-focused brief.

The display is a 6.59-inch OLED panel with a 2,768 x 1,272 resolution, which sits between the larger 6.8-inch flagships and more compact 6.3-inch rivals. Frandroid found the screen sharp, bright and well calibrated in everyday use, with measured SDR brightness of 765 nits and 1,015 nits in automatic mode, despite Oppo’s higher quoted peak figures for HDR content. The panel supports refresh rates up to 144Hz, although that ceiling is only relevant in a small number of games, with 120Hz the usual maximum. LTPO control helps the phone reduce power draw when high refresh rates are not needed.

Performance comes from MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600M, paired in the French model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Frandroid says it does not represent a dramatic leap over the Find X9 generation, but it is still quick enough to deliver consistently responsive day-to-day use and strong gaming results. The publication also observed that the chip runs cooler than some recent Qualcomm flagships, which helps sustain performance over longer workloads. Software is handled by Android 17 with ColorOS 17, and Oppo is promising five years of Android upgrades and six years of security patches, although the system still arrives with a familiar bundle of pre-installed apps.

Photography is where Oppo is making its boldest statement. The Find X10 uses a 200-megapixel main camera, a 200-megapixel telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, alongside a 50-megapixel front camera. Frandroid says the main sensor produces highly detailed images, the telephoto lens remains impressive through its 2.8x optical range and beyond, and the selfie camera is strong both by day and in low light. Night performance is more uneven on the ultra-wide camera, but the overall package is still unusually ambitious for a compact flagship. Oppo’s own materials for India describe the same 200-megapixel main and telephoto combination, though they pair it with an 8,000mAh battery rather than the 7,150mAh capacity listed by Frandroid for Europe.

Battery life is one of the Find X10’s strongest arguments. Frandroid says the 7,150mAh European battery can stretch to two or even three days depending on usage, while endurance tests showed unusually long runtimes for a flagship phone. Charging is equally assertive, with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Oppo’s launch pricing places the device near other premium Android phones, and the company is also offering launch incentives, including a €100 discount, a choice of bundled accessories and trade-in bonuses. That makes the Find X10 less of a bargain than a statement device, but it remains a compelling one for buyers who value battery endurance, camera capability and a relatively compact form factor.
