Oppo’s Pad Mini Matte Display Edition is now available in India and Malaysia, combining an 8.8-inch 144Hz OLED screen with a paper-like matte finish and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 performance.
Oppo has expanded its compact tablet line-up with the Pad Mini Matte Display Edition, which is now on sale in India and Malaysia. The device centres on an 8.8-inch OLED panel with a 2.5K resolution of 2520 x 1680 pixels, an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a claimed peak brightness of 3,200 nits. Its matte finish is designed to cut reflections and give stylus input a paper-like feel, placing it in contrast with gloss-finish rivals in the same compact category.
The new model is built around Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform and pairs it with 8GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Oppo says this is the only configuration listed for international markets at present, although the tablet is offered in China with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. According to Oppo’s own product pages, the tablet also supports the OPPO Pencil 3 for precision input and runs ColorOS 16.0.
Battery and imaging hardware are aligned with the rest of the specification sheet. Oppo lists a 7,820mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging, while its regional specification pages also mention a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera and 4K video recording. The tablet comes in Lavender Purple and, according to reporting from Indian tech sites, the 8GB/256GB version is priced at Rs 94,999 in India, with sales due to begin on 29 October 2026.
