Plaud introduces its AI-powered note-taking hardware to India, unveiling the Note Pro and NotePin S, equipped with multilingual support and robust security standards, targeting professionals seeking seamless transcription and record management.
Plaud has brought its AI note-taking hardware to India with the launch of two devices aimed at professionals who want recordings turned into usable text. The company’s flagship Note Pro and its wearable NotePin S are designed to capture meetings, calls and interviews, then generate transcripts, summaries and searchable records through Plaud Intelligence, the company’s own software layer.
In India, the Note Pro is priced at Rs. 20,990 and the NotePin S at Rs. 19,990. Both are available through Amazon, Blinkit and Plaud’s official website. The India launch also adds broad regional language support, with the company saying the devices work in more than 112 languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Assamese, Gujarati and Malayalam.
The Note Pro is the more conventional of the two. It is a credit card-sized recorder measuring 85.6 x 54.1 x 2.99mm and weighing 30g. Plaud says it includes four MEMS microphones, noise-filtering features, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, a 500mAh battery and a small colour display for capture status. The device ships with a magnetic sleeve, ring and case, allowing it to attach to the back of a smartphone.
The NotePin S is built for hands-free use and can be worn as a necklace, clip, wristband or pin. It measures 51 x 21 x 11mm, weighs 17.4g and has a 320mAh battery. Unlike the Note Pro, it does not have a display; instead, it uses an LED indicator. Plaud says the bundle includes a magnetic pin, wristband, clip and lanyard, while recordings can be managed through the web app, desktop software or mobile app. The company also says the devices meet standards including ISO 27001/27701, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA and EN 18031, underlining the privacy and security pitch behind the product line.
