Realme introduces the P4s in India, featuring an 8,000mAh battery, a high-refresh AMOLED display, and four years of security updates, targeting long-lasting performance for gamers and power users.
Realme has unveiled the P4s in India as a mid-range handset built around endurance and gaming. According to Oficina da Net, the device was announced on Wednesday, 26 August, with a large battery, a high-refresh AMOLED panel and a promise of several years of software support. Indian tech outlets also reported that the phone is aimed at users who want long battery life without giving up display quality or sustained gaming performance.
The phone uses a Samsung M14 OLED panel measuring 6.77 inches, with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Realme says the screen can peak at 6,500 nits and supports HDR10+, while the company also claims the panel is tuned for better outdoor visibility and smoother motion. Under the bonnet, the P4s runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultra, paired with a dedicated HyperVision+ AI chip that Realme says is intended to improve gaming performance.
Memory and storage options go up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The software package is Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, and the company says it will provide three years of Android upgrades and four years of security patches. That places the P4s among the more aggressively supported phones in its class.
The camera system is led by a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation, backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 112-degree field of view. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an 85-degree field of view. The headline feature remains the 8,000mAh battery, which supports 80W fast charging.
Colour options are Electric Cyan and Titanium Grey. On pricing, Oficina da Net said the entry model would start at about R$2,300 in India, but several Indian publications reported a launch price of ₹14,999, while others listed ₹34,999 for the same family of devices. Sales are due to begin on 3 September, suggesting that some of the reported pricing may reflect different configurations or a reporting discrepancy.
