Samsung expands its foldable and wearable device portfolio in Greece, introducing the high-end Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and enhanced Galaxy Watch models as the premium segment tightens worldwide.
Samsung has begun selling its latest foldable smartphones and smartwatches in Greece, bringing the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 to mobile operators, retailers and the company’s online store, Samsung.com/gr. The launch follows Samsung’s wider rollout of the devices, which the company said went on general sale on August 7, 2026.
At the top of the range is the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which Samsung positions as its first “Ultra” foldable. According to the company’s product pages, it uses an 8-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 6.5-inch cover screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, up to 16GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage. It also carries a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging, while running Android 17 with One UI 9 and Gemini Intelligence.
Samsung says the Fold8 Ultra is aimed at users who want a larger canvas for work and creation, while the standard Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 broaden the range for different use cases. The company also said the Fold8 Ultra starts at $2,099.99 in the US, with launch pricing rising from the previous generation, underlining how premium the foldable segment remains.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 is designed around quick interactions on its outer screen, which Samsung calls FlexWindow. The company says it includes personalised Now Brief updates, Gemini access from the cover display and a 50-megapixel camera system with ProVisual Engine support. Across the Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 and Flip8, Samsung is also pushing AI-led features such as assisted next-step suggestions, dual recording and automatic subject framing.
Samsung’s new watches extend the same strategy into health and fitness. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is built for harsher conditions, with a titanium case, a display rated up to 5,000 nits and durability certifications including IP69K, 10 ATM and EN 13319. The Galaxy Watch9 is the lighter everyday model, available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with an aluminium case, a display rated up to 3,000 nits and tools for tracking vital signs, sleep, heart health and cardiovascular load.
