Samsung’s latest foldable makes a stronger case for itself as a work device than as a novelty. After a week with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the clearest impression is not simply that it is thin, but that Samsung has built a large-screen handset with enough composure to handle serious multitasking without feeling unwieldy. In a market where attention has largely been fixed on the standard Fold8’s slimmer, more compact shape, the Ultra stands apart as a device aimed at people who want a pocketable productivity tool rather than a phone primarily for media consumption.
