TCL expands its mobile portfolio in the Philippines with three new devices featuring its environmentally friendly and eye-pleasing NXTPAPER screens, marking a significant step in its shift from TV giant to comprehensive mobile brand.
TCL has expanded its mobile line-up in the Philippines with three smartphones built around its NXTPAPER display technology, a feature the company has spent several years developing for easier reading and longer screen use. The new models are the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra, NXTPAPER 70 Pro and K70 Power 4G. According to TCL, the range is intended to combine clearer visuals, reduced eye strain and more practical battery life for users who split their time between work, entertainment and travel.
The launch also marks a further step in TCL’s move from a television specialist into a broader mobile brand. TCL first introduced NXTPAPER smartphones in 2023, when it described them as the world’s first phones built around the technology, and it later widened the portfolio at Mobile World Congress 2024. The NXTPAPER 70 Pro was announced again at CES in January 2026 and was subsequently scheduled for a U.S. release in April, underlining TCL’s intent to push the display system across multiple markets and device categories.
Among the new models, the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra is positioned as the most capable productivity device. TCL says it uses a 7.2-inch 120Hz FHD+ display, a MediaTek D7400 Elite chipset, Android 16 and a 5,200mAh battery with 33W charging. The company also highlights a triple rear camera set-up with optical image stabilisation, a 32-megapixel front camera and support for microSD expansion. The NXTPAPER 70 Pro follows a similar formula in a slightly smaller and lighter body, with a 6.9-inch display, Android 16, 33W charging and TCL’s AI productivity and MuseFilm features.
The K70 Power 4G targets users who care more about battery life than premium specifications. TCL says it can last up to three days on one charge and pairs a 5,200mAh battery with 18W charging and a 6.75-inch display. The company says the phones are available through Shopee in the Philippines, with introductory prices of PHP35,995 for the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra, PHP22,995 for the NXTPAPER 70 Pro and PHP9,495 for the K70 Power 4G.
