Tecno expands its Pova line in India with the new Pova AI Buds Pro, offering advanced AI features including live transcription, meeting summaries, and local audio recording, alongside robust noise cancellation and long battery life.
Tecno has broadened its Pova line in India with a pair of audio products aimed at users who want more than standard wireless earbuds. The new Pova AI Buds Pro centre on on-device AI features, including live speech transcription, meeting summaries and translation support across as many as 78 languages.
The company says the earbuds can also capture audio locally through built-in storage, with recording started from a Quick Note button on the charging case. Tecno claims the buds can record continuously for up to four hours, which may appeal to people who need a portable note-taking tool as much as a listening device.
Each earbud carries four microphones and supports hybrid active noise cancellation, which Tecno says can cut surrounding noise by up to 48dB. Other specifications include pinch-based controls, Hi-Res Audio support, LHDC codec compatibility, dual-device pairing and an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
Battery life is rated at up to 40 hours with the charging case. The case supports both USB Type-C and wireless charging, although Tecno notes that the wireless charging pad is sold separately. The Pova AI Buds Pro are priced at INR 14,999 and will go on sale in India on August 22 through Flipkart and Amazon, arriving as Tecno also prepares to launch the Pova 8 Pro series in the country on August 18.
