TECNO unveils a Tonino Lamborghini limited edition of its POVA 8 Pro 5G, blending high-end Italian automotive styling with flagship smartphone specifications, offering a customised and luxury-inspired user experience.
TECNO has added a branded twist to its POVA 8 Pro 5G by unveiling a Tonino Lamborghini limited edition. The company’s official listing shows the phone keeps the same core hardware as the standard model, but adds a more distinctive exterior and a custom software theme aimed at buyers who value design as much as specifications.
The special edition carries Tonino Lamborghini styling cues, including the logo, Pulse Line lighting and signature pattern details. TECNO has also tailored the interface with exclusive boot animations, dynamic wallpapers and custom app icons. The Tonino Lamborghini name comes from the Italian lifestyle brand founded in 1981 by Tonino Lamborghini, son of Ferruccio Lamborghini, and is built around luxury products that draw on the family’s automotive heritage.
Underneath the cosmetic changes, the device remains unchanged. TECNO says it uses a 6.78-inch HyperLux AMOLED display with a 2644 x 1208 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G chip with TECNO’s P1 graphics chip, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, matching the regular POVA 8 Pro 5G specification sheet.
The rest of the package is similarly familiar. TECNO lists a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C main camera with optical stabilisation, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 13-megapixel selfie camera, a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging, Android 16 with HiOS 16, and features including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, stereo speakers and IP66/68/69/69K resistance. The phone is already on TECNO’s website, although the company has not yet disclosed pricing or local launch plans.
