TTArtisan introduces its minimalist Neo Series in Indonesia, offering lightweight, cost-effective full-frame autofocus lenses tailored for photographers, videographers, and content creators, with the first models being the 50mm f/1.8 and forthcoming 85mm f/1.8.
TTArtisan has brought its Neo Series to Indonesia, positioning the new line as a lower-cost entry into full-frame autofocus lenses for mirrorless cameras. Denka Pratama Indonesia said the range is aimed at photographers, videographers and content creators who want lighter kit and simpler handling, with the first two models in the family being the Neo AF 50mm f/1.8 and the Neo AF 85mm f/1.8. The company said the concept is intended to make full-frame autofocus glass more accessible without stripping away practical performance.
The defining feature of the series is its stripped-back control layout. According to TTArtisan’s product information and launch coverage by Photo Rumors, the Neo lenses omit both a manual focus ring and an aperture ring, leaving exposure and focus changes to the camera body. The lenses use an STM stepping motor for autofocus, with support for eye detection and face detection on compatible cameras. TTArtisan also offers a removable outer shell, allowing users to alter the appearance of the lens. The design is compact and light, with the 50mm model weighing about 156g to 167g depending on mount.
The Neo AF 50mm f/1.8 is the first model to reach the market. TTArtisan’s official listing says it uses a 12-element, 8-group optical formula, including two extra-low dispersion elements and four high-refractive index elements. The lens has a minimum focus distance of 0.48 metres and a 52mm filter thread. Nikon Rumors and Pergear both reported a launch price of $89 in other markets, while in Indonesia Denka Pratama has set the retail price at Rp2,499,000, with a one-year official warranty.
The 85mm f/1.8 extends the same concept towards portrait work and short telephoto use. Digital Camera World reported earlier this year that TTArtisan planned the lens as part of the same minimalist family, with mount support spanning Sony FE, Nikon Z and L-mount. Denka Pratama says the 85mm version will go on sale in Indonesia in September 2026, broadening the series for users looking for an affordable autofocus option for portraits, events and content production.
