Vivo introduces more affordable X300 FE in India with 8GB RAM and powerful features

Vivo expands its X300 FE series in India by launching a new 8GB + 256GB model, offering a compact flagship experience with premium imaging, robust battery life, and advanced features at a lower entry price.

Vivo has widened the X300 FE range in India with a new 8GB + 256GB version, a move that lowers the entry point to its compact flagship line while keeping the same core hardware, imaging system and design language. The company says the model is aimed at users who want a premium X Series phone without moving to the higher-storage variants.

The X300 FE is built around a 6.31-inch compact display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Vivo says the screen reaches 5,000 nits of brightness and uses ZEISS Master Colour tuning, while the camera system combines a 50MP ZEISS telephoto camera, a 50MP ZEISS main camera and a 50MP ZEISS front camera. Independent reviews of the phone have also pointed to a 120Hz AMOLED panel, a small-for-class form factor and strong performance from the same chipset.

Battery and durability remain central to the device’s positioning. Vivo says the X300 FE carries a 6,500mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging, alongside IP68 and IP69 resistance against dust and water. Reviewers have echoed the battery strength, describing it as unusually large for a phone of this size.

The phone runs OriginOS 6 and adds features such as Origin Island, Text Vibe, One-Tap Transfer and Shake & Share, plus Vivo Office Kit for mirroring, file transfer and remote PC control. Vivo also highlights AI Search, AI Creation and AI Captions, as well as Private Space, 5 years of OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates. The new 8GB + 256GB model is priced at INR 84,999 and goes on sale from 12 August 2026 through major online platforms, Vivo’s own store and retail outlets in India. It joins the existing 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants priced at INR 89,999 and INR 99,999.
