Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi K100 Pro Max, featuring an ultra-high resolution camera, a large 9,070mAh battery, and cutting-edge display technology, signalling a significant leap in flagship smartphone performance.
Xiaomi has unveiled the REDMI K100 series, with the K100 Pro Max positioned as the range-topping model. According to GizGuide, the handset is 8.45mm thick and weighs 238g, making it slightly slimmer than the Pro despite its larger size. It arrives with a glass-fibre rear panel and comes in black, gold, blue and red.
The display is a 6.9-inch flat OLED panel with a resolution of 2,608 x 1,200 and a 185Hz refresh rate. GizGuide says Xiaomi is using M11 luminescent material, the same display technology found on the standard Pro. The phone also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Inside, the Pro Max runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with an Adreno graphics processor. It is offered with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Cooling is handled by a 6,300 sq mm circulating pump system, which is larger than the one used in the Pro, according to GizGuide.
Battery life is another major upgrade. The Pro Max uses a 9,070mAh cell with 16% silicon content, and charging support includes 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone also supports 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging. Earlier leak reports from GizChina and Sina pointed to a battery in the 8,500mAh to 9,000mAh range, 100W charging and a 185Hz screen, broadly matching Xiaomi’s final specifications.
On the camera side, the device has a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. GizGuide also says Xiaomi has fitted a Bose-tuned 2.1-channel speaker setup with dual 1115D speakers and Deco 2016 tablet-style units. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC and dual-SIM support. Reports from Gadgets360 and Root-Nation had earlier suggested high-end Snapdragon and memory options for the series, while leak coverage also indicated that global versions could later appear under the Poco brand.
