Xiaomi unveils the Smart Band 10 Pro, offering a brighter AMOLED display, enhanced health tracking, dual-device connectivity, and a sleek design , marking a refined evolution rather than a revolution in fitness wearables.
Xiaomi’s Smart Band 10 Pro is an incremental update rather than a reinvention, but that is largely the point. The latest model keeps the familiar slim fitness-band format while adding a brighter display, a refined body, longer endurance and more capable health tracking. Xiaomi says the device is aimed at users who want a wearable that remains compact and unobtrusive, rather than one that tries to replace a full smartwatch. That positioning is reflected in the hardware: the band is thin, light and available in aluminium or ceramic finishes.
The most obvious improvement is the screen. Xiaomi gives the Smart Band 10 Pro a 1.74-inch AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, up from the 1,200-nit panel on the previous Pro model. In practical terms, that should make notifications, workout data and navigation prompts easier to read in strong daylight. The display also runs at 60Hz and offers a 336ppi density, which should keep text and icons looking sharp. Xiaomi claims battery life of up to 21 days, although that figure will depend on how heavily the brighter screen and tracking features are used.
Design remains a major part of the appeal. According to Xiaomi and early reviews, the band is built around a high-strength aluminium frame, with a white ceramic version offered for a more premium look. TechAdvisor noted that the hardware feels sleeker than a typical tracker, while still remaining affordable for the category. The lack of physical buttons keeps the body clean and reduces the chance of accidental presses during exercise, although it also means the device cannot be powered on again once the battery is fully drained without being connected to charge.
Health and fitness features have also been broadened. Xiaomi includes continuous heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, sleep analysis and heart-rate variability monitoring, which the company presents as a way to judge recovery and stress. The band also supports more than 150 sports modes and built-in GNSS for outdoor activity tracking, according to Xiaomi’s product pages and third-party reviews. The company says the updated sensor package improves heart-rate accuracy, and the added sleep tools are intended to give users more actionable guidance rather than just raw data.
One of the more unusual additions is dual-device message synchronisation. Xiaomi says the band can stay linked to two phones at once, including a Xiaomi handset running HyperOS 3 or later and an iPhone using Xiaomi’s interconnectivity app. That makes the device more practical for people who split work and personal phones, or who use Android and iOS together. The Smart Band 10 Pro NFC edition also adds contactless payments, extending the device’s usefulness beyond fitness tracking. Taken together, these changes do not transform the category, but they do make Xiaomi’s latest band a more polished and versatile wearable than its predecessor.
