Within that range, the site’s testing points to three models that stand out for brightness, gaming features and overall picture quality.
At around $500, the Hisense U6SF Pro is the most persuasive option. Tom’s Guide says the 55-inch model uses Mini-LED backlighting and reaches roughly 1,200 to 1,400 nits, which should keep it usable in bright rooms as well as at night.
