As smartphone prices reach new heights at the premium end, the Xiaomi 17, OnePlus 15T, and Google Pixel 10 emerge as compelling, smaller alternatives offering high-end hardware and software features for 2026 buyers.
Smartphone prices continue to climb, particularly at the top end of the market, and Samsung’s Galaxy S26 is expected to sit firmly in premium territory. For buyers who want a compact flagship without paying that level of money, several rivals now offer similar hardware in smaller bodies, stronger batteries and, in some cases, faster charging. Data from comparison sites and reviews suggests the Xiaomi 17, OnePlus 15T and Google Pixel 10 are among the most convincing alternatives for 2026.
The Xiaomi 17 is the most well-rounded of the three on raw specification. According to NanoReview and PhoneArena, it pairs a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB of LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage. Its Leica-branded triple camera system includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide unit, while the 6,330mAh silicon-carbon battery is unusually large for a compact handset and supports 100W wired as well as 50W wireless charging. The trade-off is price: in Ukraine, the 12/256GB version is listed at Hr 44,999, with the 12/512GB model at Hr 47,999.
OnePlus is taking a similar approach with the 15T, but pushing even harder on battery life and display speed. Specification listings from PhoneArena show a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and 16GB of RAM. Its 7,500mAh battery is the standout figure in this group, and the phone also supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The camera arrangement is more restrained than Xiaomi’s, with a 50MP main module and a 50MP telephoto lens, but it still covers most flagship use cases. In Ukraine, the 16/512GB version is priced at Hr 33,916, making it the cheapest of the three.
Google’s Pixel 10 is the most software-led option. Android Central says it is built around the Tensor G5 chip, 12GB of RAM and a 6.3-inch OLED display, with a strong emphasis on Gemini features, long-term support and day-to-day usability rather than benchmark numbers. Its triple camera system combines a 48MP main sensor, 13MP ultra-wide lens and 10.8MP telephoto unit with 5x optical zoom, while Qi2 magnetic wireless charging and seven years of Android updates add practical value. It is also the least powerful on paper, but for buyers who prioritise photography software, update policy and a more mature Android experience, it remains a serious compact flagship choice. In Ukraine, the 12/128GB model is listed at Hr 31,969.
