Motorola leads AnTuTu’s cheapest phone tier as Redmi tops the overall value ranking

Motorola’s Moto G100 takes the top spot among phones priced up to $225, while the Redmi K100 is named the best-value handset overall in AnTuTu’s October 2026 rankings.

AnTuTu’s October 2026 value-for-money ranking of Android smartphones has again placed Motorola at the top of the cheapest segment, underlining how the brand’s budget models are combining modest pricing with competitive benchmark results. The list, which is split into five price bands, ranks phones by comparing average performance with retail cost, rather than by battery life, camera quality or screen specifications. AnTuTu says the method is designed to show how much computing power buyers receive for their money, while noting that prices can move and that a model’s omission does not automatically mean poor value.

In the entry-level category, priced at up to $225, the Motorola Moto G100 took first place, ahead of the Moto G100s and the iQOO Z11S. AnTuTu’s report highlights the Moto G100’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, 12GB of memory and 7,000mAh battery, while the Moto G100s uses a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and the iQOO model runs on a Dimensity 7500-Turbo. The ranking suggests that Motorola has found a particularly effective formula in the lowest price bracket, where efficiency and benchmark scores matter more than premium extras.

The mid-range tiers are led by devices from Honor and Redmi. In the $225 to $380 band, Honor’s WIN RT came first, followed by Lenovo’s Legion Y70 and the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. In the next bracket, from $380 to $520, the Redmi K100 was judged the best overall value phone in the entire October list. AnTuTu says it combines a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB of RAM and a 10,000mAh battery, which helps explain its strong showing in a ranking built around performance per dollar rather than pure specification depth.

Above that, the competitive picture shifts towards upper-tier handsets with flagship-class chips. In the $520 to $670 range, the top three places went to the iQOO Neo 12, Honor Magic 9 and Honor WIN, all using Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 silicon. In the most expensive category, for phones priced above $670, Honor’s WIN 2 led the field, with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, 12GB of memory and a 10,100mAh battery. OnePlus 16 and iQOO 15 Ultra completed the top three, showing that AnTuTu’s value tables continue to reward raw performance even as prices rise sharply.
