Xiaomi’s QLED-equipped TV raises the bar in the 43-inch smart TV shortlist

The Xiaomi TV A Pro 43 2026 combines 4K resolution, HDR10+ and Google TV with a QLED panel, while rival models from TCL, Samsung, LG and Polytron offer different software and audio strengths.

Smart TVs have become the default choice for many living rooms because they combine internet access, built-in apps and streaming support in a single set. In the 43-inch category, the practical balance is often between screen size, image quality and software platform, with buyers typically weighing 4K resolution, app compatibility and audio performance alongside price. Media Indonesia’s selection of five models reflects that mix, ranging from Xiaomi’s QLED-led offering to options from TCL, Samsung, LG and Polytron.

Among those, the Xiaomi TV A Pro 43 2026 stands out on paper for pairing a 43-inch QLED panel with 4K resolution, HDR10+ support and Google TV. Xiaomi’s own specifications say the set offers a 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1.07 billion colours, HLG support and Filmmaker mode, all of which are intended to improve colour accuracy and cinematic presentation. The television also uses MEMC processing at 4K 60Hz and a 60Hz refresh rate, which should help with motion handling in everyday viewing.

The same specifications show that Xiaomi has also given the model a modest but well-rounded hardware package. It runs on a Quad Cortex-A55 processor with a Mali-G52 MC1 graphics chip, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, which is typical for a mainstream smart television rather than a premium media hub. Audio is handled by two 10-watt speakers with Dolby Audio, DTS-X and DTS Virtual support, while connectivity includes Google Assistant, Google Cast, Miracast and Apple AirPlay. The bezelless design and metal frame give it a more contemporary look than many entry-level sets.

The other sets in Media Indonesia’s list lean on familiar ecosystems rather than headline specifications. TCL’s 43P6K is presented as a 4K Google TV model for viewers who want straightforward access to streaming apps, while Samsung’s UA43U8500F uses Tizen and LG’s 43NU845BPSB relies on webOS. Polytron’s PLD 43BUG3058 stands out for combining 4K resolution with Google TV and a soundbar-style audio concept, which may appeal to buyers who care as much about sound as picture. Taken together, the list suggests that the best 43-inch smart TV depends less on brand alone than on which platform, image features and audio profile a household values most.
