Motorola’s Edge 70 has delivered a more useful result than many mid-range phones in emulator tests, at least when the workload is kept realistic. According to Oficina da Net, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 handset handled PlayStation 2 emulation through NetherSX2 with little trouble, especially after resolution scaling was raised from native output to 2x. NetherSX2, which builds on the AetherSX2 legacy and remains one of the main PS2 emulation options for Android, is designed to support upscaled rendering, control customisation, save states and other features that make older console games more practical on phones.
