In the review highlighted by Focus, the device stood out as a low-cost option that still delivers core health and exercise tracking without feeling stripped back. Tom’s Guide also described it as a sensible first purchase for people who want the essentials without moving into smartwatch territory.
The model tested was the white Ceramic Edition, though Xiaomi also sells a gold Glimmer Edition with a metal build. According to Xiaomi’s specifications, the Smart Band 10 uses a 1.72-inch AMOLED touch display, offers 5ATM water resistance and is rated for submersion to 50 metres. The screen is bright enough for outdoor use, and the band sits securely on the wrist during running and other movement.
Tom’s Guide said the tracker supports 159 workout modes, from conventional exercise to less obvious activities such as card and board games. It combines a heart-rate sensor with a nine-axis motion sensor, while Xiaomi lists additional hardware including SpO₂, ambient light and motion sensors. The reviewer found the readings easy to read on the small screen and considered the band accurate enough for everyday monitoring, although some health functions must be switched on manually in the Mi Fitness app.
Battery life is the one area where Xiaomi’s marketing appears to overstate the real-world experience. The company advertises up to 21 days from the 233mAh battery, but Tom’s Guide found closer to a week in regular use, with a faster drain when continuous heart-rate and blood-oxygen tracking were enabled. Even so, that remains considerably better than many full smartwatches, and the band’s low price, roughly $51 to $69 in the US and from 1,998 to 3,399 hryvnias in Ukraine, helps explain why it is being treated as one of the better-value wearables on the market.
