Amazon has slashed the price of the Ring Doorbell 4K Pro to $180 for Prime members, marking a significant reduction on its highest-end model amid new feature advancements and flexible options for homeowners.
Amazon is discounting both versions of the Ring Doorbell 4K Pro to $180 for Prime members, cutting $70 from the list price and taking the devices to their lowest level so far. Non-members will still pay $250. According to CNET’s deal coverage, the reduction applies to both the wired and battery-powered models, but the battery version has been the stronger bargain because its price has stayed near $250 for most of the past six months, while the wired model has dipped lower before.
The timing matters because Ring’s latest premium doorbells have become more capable. CNET ranks the wired 4K Pro among the best AI-focused Ring video doorbells, pointing to sharper 4K footage, improved audio and Ring’s new Retinal View imaging, which is designed to make important details clearer in recorded clips. Tom’s Guide similarly describes the Battery Doorbell Pro as Ring’s most advanced untethered model, with support for Wi-Fi 6, a quick-release battery pack and 3D motion detection that helps reduce false alerts. That makes the current Prime-only price cut notable for buyers who want high-end features without hardwiring. For shoppers after a cheaper alternative, CNET also points to a basic Ring doorbell falling to $40 at Best Buy.
