Delta Children launches long-lasting connected nursery products without subscription fees

Delta Children introduces its most ambitious product line in nearly 60 years, blending durable, eco-friendly furniture with innovative connected nursery devices designed for safety and longevity, without recurring subscription costs.

Delta Children has unveiled what it describes as its most ambitious product launch in nearly 60 years, moving deeper into connected nursery technology with five new items aimed at newborn care and early childhood furniture. The company said the range is designed to combine safety, convenience and longer product lifespans, while avoiding the subscription model that has become common in parts of the smart nursery market.

Among the new products is the Aero Smart Auto Glide Bassinet, which the company says uses cry detection to trigger motion and sound and connects through Bluetooth to a subscription-free app. Delta Children also introduced a smart baby monitor with a floor stand, which it says offers 1,440p video, 360-degree movement and support for up to 20 users without recurring fees. The launch also includes a convertible high chair, an organic crib and toddler mattress, and a 9-in-1 bassinet-to-crib system that the company says can be used from infancy through later childhood.

The products build on a wider market for multi-stage nursery furniture, with third-party retail listings showing that Delta Children already sells convertible cribs and high chairs focused on durability and longer use. Those products, including models available through major retailers, are marketed around adjustability, sustainable materials and safety certifications such as GREENGUARD Gold and JPMA compliance. The latest range appears to extend that approach into connected devices, with the company placing greater emphasis on app control and automated sleep features.

Joe Shamie, president of Delta Children, said the company has spent nearly six decades earning trust on safety and is now applying the same standards to technology and engineering. The firm said all five products are on sale now through its website. It also said the launch reflects a shift towards furniture and baby gear intended to last for years rather than a single stage of development.
