Konyks has introduced a new €199.90 connected security bundle that integrates alarm hardware, video monitoring, and remote control, signalling a move towards more comprehensive home security systems.
Konyks has added a new connected security bundle to its range, combining alarm hardware, video monitoring and remote control in a single Wi-Fi system priced at €199.90. The company says the pack is designed to help households keep watch over a property while away, with a touchscreen control unit, multiple sensors, a camera and a backup power option.
At the centre of the system is a 4.3-inch touchscreen panel used to arm and disarm the alarm. Konyks includes two door or window opening detectors, an infrared motion sensor and two remote controls. An integrated siren rated at 105 dB is meant to deter intruders once an alert is triggered.
The bundle also includes the Camini 2 motorised camera, which Konyks says records in 3 MP resolution and can pan through 350 degrees. The camera offers night vision, motion and sound detection, two-way audio and alerts sent to a smartphone. Recordings can be stored locally on a microSD card or in the cloud. The system can also continue operating during a power cut thanks to a backup battery, while 4G connectivity is available as a fallback if Wi-Fi is unavailable, although users must provide their own SIM card.
Control is handled through the Konyks app, which lets owners monitor the camera live, receive notifications and trigger the alarm remotely. The company says the platform also supports extra detectors and automated routines, such as switching on lights or simulating occupancy when a home is empty. It is another sign that home security products are moving towards integrated systems rather than separate devices managed independently.
