UGREEN announces HomeAgent, a comprehensive local AI platform at IFA that unites home security, storage, and smart-home control, promising enhanced privacy and device integration without heavy cloud reliance.
UGREEN has pushed beyond chargers and storage with HomeAgent, a new platform announced at IFA that brings local AI, home security, storage and smart-home control into one system. The company says the service runs through its UGOS Pro software and is designed to let its devices work together without relying heavily on cloud processing.
The first hardware built for the platform comprises three AI hubs: the HA100, the HA100 Pro and the higher-end MasterAgent MA100. UGREEN describes the HA100 as an entry-level unit for combined storage, AI processing, monitoring and smart-home functions. The HA100 Pro is aimed at users who want more capacity and stronger performance, while the MA100 is positioned for more demanding local AI tasks and agent-style applications. UGREEN says the MA100 uses NVIDIA’s Jetson Thor platform.
The platform is also intended to support a broader range of devices. UGREEN says HomeAgent will connect with its new AIoT products, including SynCare smart cameras, smart speakers and Gallery smart frames, while also extending to third-party Matter-compatible equipment. The company says local processing should improve privacy and enable features such as natural-language commands, file handling and AI-assisted monitoring.
UGREEN is also rethinking the role of home cameras. Rather than acting only as passive recorders, the company says its system is designed to identify meaningful events and turn them into daily summaries. Users can also ask questions about footage in plain language, such as whether someone was at the door at a specific time or whether a parcel was left outside. Pre-orders opened on 4 September, ahead of a Kickstarter campaign due on 27 October 2026, with more AIoT accessories expected to follow.
