Anthropic expands Claude into a comprehensive enterprise platform with new marketplace for plugins and services

Anthropic has launched Claude Marketplace, transforming the chatbot into a central platform for integrations, tools, and professional services to accelerate enterprise adoption of AI-driven workflows.

Anthropic has moved Claude beyond a single chatbot experience and into a broader software layer with the launch of Claude Marketplace, a public hub that gathers connectors, plugins, partner-built products and services in one place. The company says the marketplace already offers more than 2,000 integrations, giving enterprise users a central route to tools that can link Claude with existing workflows.

The catalogue includes connectors and plugins from major software vendors such as Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Notion and Salesforce. It also extends to Claude-powered products from partners including CrowdStrike, Cursor, Harvey, Legora, Lovable and Snowflake, reflecting Anthropic’s effort to position Claude not just as a model, but as a platform that can sit across business systems.

Anthropic is also using the marketplace to push further into implementation and consulting. According to the company, organisations can work with partners such as Accenture, Boston Consulting Group and Deloitte to help deploy Claude across teams and internal processes. That widens the proposition beyond software distribution, turning the marketplace into a route for services, integration and operational support as well.

The move mirrors a familiar app-store model, but with a stronger emphasis on enterprise adoption and developer participation. Anthropic says builders can create connectors and plugins using the Model Context Protocol and Agent Skills, while companies selling Claude-based software can apply for listing. The aim is to make discovery easier for customers already using Claude and to give developers a direct channel into that user base, though the long-term test will be whether the marketplace attracts enough third-party momentum to become a genuine distribution channel rather than a simple directory.
