Apple releases version 15.4 updates for Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, introducing new features like trigonometry functions, AI-driven image generation, and enhanced collaboration tools, while raising system requirements to macOS 26 Tahoe.
Apple has released version 15.4 of Keynote, Numbers and Pages, widening the latest round of updates to its productivity suite for both Apple Creator Studio subscribers and other users. The most substantial changes appear in Numbers, where Apple has added a broad set of trigonometry, statistics and logic functions, including ACOT, which returns the inverse cotangent, and DAYS, which calculates the number of days between two dates. Apple’s support documentation says the release also brings stability improvements and bug fixes.
For creators working in presentations and documents, the update adds several practical tools. Keynote now includes a beta feature for Apple Creator Studio subscribers that can generate new images for slides, while Apple’s App Store listing for the iPad version says subscribers can also open an image in Pixelmator Pro and see the edited result inside the presentation. That listing also describes a feature for generating custom, editable shapes from text prompts, plus new transitions and builds. The same release makes it easier to replace images from the Content Hub.
Pages gains a different kind of refinement. Apple says the app now supports Screen View, designed to make reading and focused writing easier, while subscribers also get access to a new collection of professionally designed templates. Apple’s support pages for both Mac and iPad versions say all users can request access to collaborate on shared documents and can ask Siri for help using the app. Stability improvements and bug fixes are also included.
The rollout sits alongside broader platform changes in macOS Sequoia 15.4, which adds Apple Intelligence features such as Memory movies in Photos, a new Sketch Style option in Image Playground and Mail Categorisation. That matters because Apple has now raised the system requirement for Keynote, Numbers and Pages to macOS 26 Tahoe, tying the productivity apps more closely to the company’s latest software cycle. For users who rely on Apple’s office tools, the message is clear: the suite is becoming more capable, but also more dependent on the newest version of the Mac operating system.
