AskAnyModel offers disruptive lifetime AI subscription amid rising market costs

A new lifetime subscription to AskAnyModel’s AI Pro Plan, priced at $39.99 down from $499, aims to simplify AI model comparison with a multi-model dashboard, signalling a potential shift in the AI market’s approach to pricing and accessibility.

Mashable says a lifetime subscription to AskAnyModel AI Pro Plan is available for $39.99, down from $499, positioning the service as a way to compare outputs from multiple AI models without paying for several separate tools. The offer centres on a browser-based dashboard that lets users put the same prompt to several systems at once and review the answers side by side. According to the Mashable deal page, the platform includes access to more than 50 AI models, including well-known names such as ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Gemini.

That comparison-first approach reflects a broader shift in the AI market. A separate article on a unified AI dashboard from FindArticles describes a similar pitch: bring major models into one interface, reduce subscription sprawl and simplify everyday work such as writing, research and image generation. Galaxy.ai, reviewed by AICreative.ai, follows the same pattern with text, image, video and audio tools in a single workspace, although it is sold through a conventional subscription and a more expensive lifetime tier. AskAnyModel’s lower entry price is therefore notable, particularly for users who mainly want a fast way to test which model performs best on a given task.

The plan also includes 500 premium monthly credits, which the deal listing says can be used with 20 flagship models, while non-flagship models remain unlimited. Mashable says subscribers can also generate images, switch models during a conversation and stream responses in real time. The service runs in a web browser rather than through a dedicated app, and its model library is said to be updated regularly as new releases arrive.

Even so, the wider market suggests that lifetime pricing is becoming less common in AI products. A 2026 overview of AI companion apps from AICompanionPick says lifetime plans have largely been phased out in that segment because rising model costs make them difficult to sustain. A review of AskAnyModel by AICHief, however, describes the service as a legitimate multi-model platform with a simple interface and side-by-side comparison tools. For buyers, the practical question is whether the one-off fee will remain compelling if model access, usage rules or credit limits change over time.
