Honor’s Robot Phone introduces Agentic OS with advanced AI task delegation

Honor unveils its Robot Phone powered by Agentic OS, a multimodal AI system designed to automate complex tasks and redefine user interactions through deeper automation and smarter assistance.

Honor says its new Robot Phone will ship with Agentic OS, a multimodal artificial intelligence system designed to make phone interactions more adaptive and less reliant on manual input. The company is positioning the software as the next step beyond MagicOS, with a stronger emphasis on task management, cross-app handling and a more flexible interface for complex commands.

A key addition is YOYO Pro Mode, which Honor says is built on deep integration with Alibaba’s Qianwen AI model. The company claims the mode can handle more than 100 complex tasks and achieved a first-pass success rate of 90.4%, while also supporting longer, compound instructions issued as a single command.

Honor has also expanded the built-in YOYO assistant through a one-tap YOYO Skills store, allowing users to load and activate functions more easily. In practical terms, that suggests a device designed not just to respond to requests, but to act as a broader automation layer across different tools and services.

If the company’s claims hold up in real-world use, the Robot Phone would mark a more ambitious turn in smartphone AI: less about chat-style assistance and more about delegated execution, with the handset taking on a larger share of routine digital work.
