Rokid has launched AIUI Studio, a browser-based platform that simplifies building spatial AI applications for its smart glasses, opening the ecosystem to a broader range of creators without coding experience, as part of its continued expansion in the AI wearables market.
Rokid has opened its AI glasses software ecosystem to a much wider pool of builders with the global launch of AIUI Studio at IFA Berlin 2026. The browser-based platform is designed to let people create spatial AI applications for Rokid Glasses without prior coding experience and without first buying a development kit.
The company’s pitch is that app creation can begin in plain language. In AIUI Studio, users describe what they want to build and the system turns that into a working application through an AI-led workflow. That lowers the entry barrier for non-specialists, while still giving experienced developers a route to more structured control over how an app behaves.
A built-in simulator is central to that promise. Rokid says creators can test projects in a virtual glasses environment before moving to physical hardware, and its documentation recommends using the Interactive Inview simulator before a final check on the real device. For developers who want finer control, the platform also combines an AIUI Skills Library with AIUI Code assistance, which Rokid says can help improve use of the glasses’ hardware while reducing latency, memory use and power draw.
The launch builds on a growing developer base around Rokid’s wearables. The company says it now has around 35,000 registered developers and more than 500 agents in its Agent Store. It has also been widening its creator strategy in the US, including a Thousand Creator Programme that offers Ai Glasses Style Packs to established and emerging creators, a sign that Rokid is trying to build not just hardware sales but a broader content and applications market around its glasses.
