SpaceXAI has launched Grok Bot, a beta system of persistent AI agents capable of managing complex workflows across websites, applications, and tools, marking a significant shift towards autonomous enterprise automation.
SpaceXAI has unveiled Grok Bot, a beta system of persistent AI agents that run on dedicated cloud computers and can move across websites, applications, inboxes and other tools to complete tasks from start to finish. The company says the bots pause when a decision or approval is needed, which makes the product less like a narrow coding assistant and more like a general workflow engine for business users.
According to the launch material, each bot keeps conversation state, remembers preferences and can be trained by watching a user perform a task, then replaying that process later. SpaceXAI says the system was first built for internal use in sales outreach, marketing, operations and software development. One example it gave involved an engineering bot reproducing a user interface bug, filing a ticket and handing the issue to another bot for debugging.
The company is also pitching Grok Bot as a multi-agent environment rather than a single assistant. Bots can run in parallel, share context through threads and split work between specialist agents, while group conversations allow several bots to coordinate and ask for human input where needed. That places the product closer to browser-based computer-use systems and other general-purpose agent platforms than to tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, which are mainly built around software development and terminal execution. TechRadar also noted that SpaceXAI has recently pushed Grok further into workplace software with an Excel add-in for formula work, charting and spreadsheet analysis.
Grok Bot’s arrival follows a broader acceleration in the company’s AI strategy. Axios reported in July that SpaceXAI launched Grok 4.5 as a more coding- and agent-focused model aimed at business users, while Tom’s Guide traced the Grok line’s rapid expansion since its beta debut in 2023. The new bot system now sits within that same push, but it also raises familiar questions about pricing, permissions and how much control users retain when software is allowed to act continuously on their behalf. SpaceXAI says Grok Bot is available in beta to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers.
