ThreatER enhances security with new DNS and logging tools following HYAS Protect acquisition

ThreatER introduces EnforceDNS and Managed Logging to strengthen its pre-emptive cybersecurity platform, leveraging recent acquisition of HYAS Protect assets to extend protections into DNS layer and unified logging.

threatER has launched EnforceDNS and a managed logging feature for its Enforce platform, extending its pre-emptive security stack from network enforcement into protective DNS, the company said. The move builds on its December 2025 purchase of HYAS Protect assets, which threatER said gave it access to adversary-infrastructure intelligence for blocking malicious domains before they reach the network.

EnforceDNS is a cloud-native protective DNS service that examines DNS traffic to stop phishing, ransomware and command-and-control communications, according to threatER’s product materials. The company says the system works at the DNS layer, where requests to reach internet destinations can be checked in real time against threat intelligence before a connection is allowed. It also says the technology now sits alongside its existing network and cloud controls in a single console.

The company is also introducing Managed Logging for Enforce, which combines logs from Enforce and EnforceDNS in one hosted environment. threatER said the feature is intended to give security teams a common view of user activity across network and DNS layers, including what was blocked and when. The firm said the setup is designed to reduce the need for separate logging systems or custom data stores.

“The modern threat landscape demands a completely preemptive approach,” said Brian McMahon, CEO of threatER. “By adding the elite protective DNS capabilities we acquired from HYAS and our new Managed Logging to Enforce, we afford security teams total visibility and control over hybrid environments.” The company said both EnforceDNS and Managed Logging are immediately available to new and existing customers.
