Anker unveils the MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro, a magnetically attachable, heat-managed battery boasting active cooling, 25W Qi2.2 charging, and a smart display , pushing the boundaries of portable wireless power technology.
Anker has launched the MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro, a 10,000mAh magnetic battery designed to address one of wireless charging’s main weaknesses: heat. The company says the new model uses active cooling to keep temperatures under control while sustaining faster charging speeds, making it one of its most ambitious Qi2.2 accessories to date.
At the centre of the product is Qi2.2 support at up to 25W, a meaningful step up from the 15W ceiling that has defined much of the magnetic charging market. Anker says that, in testing with an iPhone 17 Pro, the power bank can raise the handset to 50% in 25 minutes. A USB-C port also supports 45W charging in both directions, allowing the battery pack itself to be recharged to 80% in 52 minutes.
The cooling system, branded SnapCool, combines a compact fan, dual airflow channels and a three-layer graphene heat spreader. Anker says the aim is to keep the rear surface below 36C during charging, compared with temperatures above 45C that can occur with other magnetic power banks. Notebookcheck reported that the device also offers a colour display showing output, battery health and fan mode, while Anker says the screen can display charging power, temperature, remaining capacity, estimated time and the active operating mode.
The design includes a folding stand for portrait or landscape use, making it suitable for video calls and streaming while charging. Weighing 220g, it comes in three finishes, including a new bordeaux colour intended to match recent iPhone models. According to Anker and Smartworld, the power bank is priced at €109.99, although a launch offer lowers that to €93.49 until 28 September and includes a cable; Notebookcheck also reported an earlier-buyer promotion at €87.99 for a shorter period.
