Anker launches its MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro in the Philippines, featuring a pioneering active cooling system to optimise high-speed magnetic wireless charging, addressing heat issues and enhancing device stability.
Anker has brought its MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro to the Philippines, positioning the accessory as a response to one of the main weaknesses of high-speed wireless charging: heat. Teknogadyet reported that the device has launched locally at ₱5,995 and pairs a 10,000mAh battery with 25W magnetic wireless charging, 45W wired self-recharging and an active cooling system designed to keep temperatures under control during heavy use.
The cooling design is the main technical distinction. According to Anker’s product pages for other markets, the MagGo 2 Pro uses a built-in fan, dual air channels and a three-layer graphene heat spreader, with the company saying the system is intended to keep surface temperatures below 36°C. Notebookcheck and Ubergizmo both reported that this thermal management is meant to stabilise charging performance when the power bank is working at its highest wireless output, while SGS Premium Performance certification has been cited as evidence of that temperature target.
Anker says the power bank can deliver up to 25W over Qi2.2 magnetic wireless charging, with laboratory testing showing an iPhone 17 Pro reaching 50 per cent in about 25 minutes. The company also says the unit supports 45W USB-C input, allowing the internal battery to reach 80 per cent in roughly 52 minutes. Compatibility listed by Anker covers the iPhone 13 through iPhone 18 ranges, excluding the iPhone 16e.
The device also adds features aimed at everyday use rather than pure charging speed. Anker’s listings describe a smart display that reports battery level, charging mode, internal temperature, battery health and estimated charging time, alongside an adjustable stand for hands-free viewing. Teknogadyet said the Philippine release is available in Phantom Gray, Starlight Silver and Polar Night, with Burgundy Red due later, and that sales are being handled through official Anker stores on major online platforms and authorised retail partners.
