Apple’s latest AirPods Pro 3 earbuds are currently on sale for $189.99 on Amazon, marking the strongest discount since Prime Week and Prime Day, with new features and improved noise cancellation prompting renewed consumer interest.
Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 are back on offer, with Amazon listing them at $189.99, a drop of $59.01 from the $249 list price. Mashable said it is the strongest discount seen since Prime Week, and TechRadar also described the deal as the best since Prime Day, when the earbuds briefly fell to an even lower level.
The timing is notable because Apple’s latest premium earbuds only arrived recently and still sit near the top of the company’s audio range. Apple says the AirPods Pro 3 were redesigned around a new in-ear fit, with smaller earbuds, foam-infused tips in five sizes and IP57 resistance against sweat, dust and water. The company also says they include a MagSafe USB-C charging case with a speaker and lanyard loop.
On performance, Apple says the model supports Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode, Conversation Awareness, spatial audio and Live Translation, alongside hearing-related features such as a hearing test and hearing protection. TechRadar’s review praised the earbuds as near-perfect noise-cancelling buds, while also noting a battery life of about 5.5 hours and that some advanced features work best with newer iPhones.
A further upgrade is the built-in heart rate sensor, which Apple says enables workout tracking through the Fitness app. MacRumors reported that Apple also claims improved sound quality and stronger noise cancellation than earlier models, with up to 2 times better ANC than AirPods Pro 2. For buyers already in the Apple ecosystem, the current discount makes the Pro 3 a more compelling purchase than paying full price, especially with rumours of another AirPods update still circulating.
