The wired device combines a mouse, touchscreen, trackpad, keyboard and programmable control panel, with app-aware shortcuts and local voice dictation.
Arctic Fox Technologies has unveiled the Super Mouse, a wired peripheral that tries to collapse several desktop tools into a single device. Rather than functioning only as a conventional pointer, it combines a mouse with a 3.1-inch touchscreen, programmable controls and software-driven shortcuts that adapt to the application currently in use. The company says the aim is to reduce the constant movement between mouse, keyboard and separate control surfaces that many office, creative and technical users rely on throughout the day.
According to Arctic Fox, the display shifts across five modes depending on context. It can act as a control panel for app-specific shortcuts and macros, a multi-touch trackpad, a small on-device keyboard with swipe typing, a set of quick-access sliders for brightness and volume, or a calendar view tied to Google Calendar. The company also says the screen dims when the hand leaves the mouse, and can be switched off entirely for users who want a standard pointing device without the extra interface.
The Super Mouse also adds features that are more usually associated with software than with desktop hardware. Arctic Fox says voice dictation is handled locally on the device and within its companion Flow application, so nothing is uploaded to a server. Two physical hyper keys sit beside the scroll wheel for programmable actions, while a gyroscope enables motion-based controls for tasks such as slide navigation and media scrubbing. The mouse can also store multiple user profiles, launch applications directly, lock the computer quickly and track focus time. Flow is used to configure shortcuts, macros, layouts and integrations, with software updates delivered through the desktop app rather than through the mouse itself.
The product is positioned for people working in video editing, design, software development, writing and data-heavy office tasks, where repeated actions can be condensed into one press or gesture. Notebookcheck reported that the Super Mouse is on preorder through Kickstarter at $199, with a planned retail price of $249 and an estimated delivery window of February 2027. Digital Trends noted that it is USB-C powered, supports Windows and macOS, and does not include wireless operation, underscoring that Arctic Fox is pitching it as a desk-bound productivity tool rather than a mobile accessory.
