Baseus’s new 14-in-1 dock gets an unusually early 35% discount

The Spacemate RD1 Plus has dropped to $169.99 on Amazon shortly after launch, bringing dual-display support, 120W charging and a built-in power supply to a lower price.

Baseus’s Spacemate RD1 Plus docking station has fallen to $169.99 on Amazon, according to Android Authority, marking the first discount on a product that only arrived this month. The price is $90 below the $259.99 suggested retail price and, at 35 per cent off, appears to be the lowest level seen so far this year.

That timing matters because the dock is still new. Android Authority says the reduction is unusually early for a device positioned as a premium desktop accessory, and it strengthens the case for buyers who want to build a tidier, single-cable workstation without paying launch pricing. Baseus’s own product listing describes the RD1 Plus as a 14-in-1 USB-C dock aimed at users who want to turn a laptop into a more complete desktop setup.

The hardware is built around Windows productivity use, with dual extended display support at up to 4K at 60Hz, or a single display running at 4K at 120Hz in supported configurations, according to Baseus. The dock also includes a built-in GaN power supply rated at up to 120W, which means it can charge a connected laptop without a separate charger taking up space on the desk. The company says it also provides 10Gbps transfers over faster USB ports, alongside Ethernet, HDMI, card readers and multiple USB connections.

Baseus has also pushed the design towards desk organisation rather than just raw connectivity. The vertical tower layout is intended to reduce clutter, while the front smart display shows connection and power information. Baseus says the dock is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux when paired with full-featured USB-C, USB4 or Thunderbolt systems, but the strongest feature set remains its Windows-focused multi-monitor support and integrated power delivery.
