Paris-based brand BIONIC launches the Valet Charger, a premium bedside accessory that combines wireless charging with sophisticated storage, aiming to reduce clutter while enhancing aesthetics.
BIONIC has extended its approach to organised, furniture-like accessories with a new charging dock that is meant to do more than replenish a phone battery. The Valet Charger combines a wireless charging surface with a shallow storage tray, creating a single place for the objects people normally scatter across a hall table or bedside cabinet: a handset, keys, glasses and earbuds. According to BIONIC’s announcement, the product is aimed at reducing visual clutter without adding complexity.
The construction is typical of the Paris-based brand’s restrained design language. BIONIC says the Valet Charger is precision machined from a single block of anodised aluminium, rather than assembled from multiple visible parts, and is offered in silver or black. The unit measures 265 × 67 × 20 mm and weighs 300 g, giving it the profile of a narrow bar rather than a bulky charging dock. BIONIC also says the compact size is intended to help the product sit quietly on a desk or entryway surface.
Charging is handled through a wireless pad integrated into the top section, with support for smartphones and AirPods. Power is supplied via a built-in USB-C connection, removing the need for a separate charging brick. BIONIC also says the charging surface is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass, a choice that should provide a harder, more scratch-resistant top where devices are repeatedly placed and lifted.
The storage portion is lined with full-grain leather, available in black, grey or brown. BIONIC has previously used leather inserts and replacement pads across related products, including the Valet Tray, and says the material is chosen to age over time, developing a patina rather than simply wearing out. In practical terms, the tray gives small items a defined resting place while softening the look and feel of the aluminium shell.
The Valet Charger is priced at €240, placing it in the premium accessory market rather than the general charging-dock category. BIONIC positions it as part of a wider system of matching desktop and entryway objects, and it can be paired with the company’s existing Valet Tray. The result is less a standalone gadget than a carefully coordinated surface for everyday carry items, with the charging function folded into a storage object that is meant to remain visible.
