Edifier’s R2750DB MKII is a reminder that “bookshelf” can be a generous term. Each cabinet is about 223 x 395 x 280 mm, and the pair weighs 16.57 kg, so this is a sizeable active stereo system rather than a compact desktop speaker set. The design combines a 7-inch woofer, a 4.5-inch mid-range driver and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter in a three-way layout, with a claimed 144W RMS output and support for HDMI eARC, optical, coaxial, line-in and Bluetooth 6.0. Edifier also lists Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, plus multipoint Bluetooth and a SUB OUT for expansion.
In practice, the appeal is not just the specification sheet but the breadth of use cases.
