EWEADN unveils S9V2 Ultimate with ultra-light design and 8KHz wireless polling

EWEADN announces the S9V2 Ultimate, a lightweight, high-performance wireless gaming mouse combining advanced sensors, extended battery life, and magnetic wireless charging, aimed at competitive gamers seeking speed and precision.

EWEADN is preparing to bring out the S9V2 Ultimate, a large-format wireless gaming mouse that tries to combine low weight, high-speed tracking and long battery life in one chassis. The company says the mouse weighs about 59g and uses a PixArt PAW3955EX optical sensor with a Nordic nRF54L15 controller, a pairing aimed at supporting 8KHz polling over wired USB-C and 2.4GHz wireless connections.

The design is built around a symmetrical shell measuring 127 x 64 x 40.5mm, with EWEADN saying it is intended to suit palm, claw and fingertip grips. The mouse also uses a skin-like surface coating and an internal reinforcing structure to keep the body light while maintaining rigidity. Large PTFE skates, custom 150M optical micro-switches and a TTC 1M dustproof gold wheel encoder round out the main hardware package.

EWEADN says the 500mAh battery can deliver up to 330 hours of use in 2.4GHz mode at 1KHz polling, while a high scan-rate mode exceeds 20,000 frames per second and button latency is claimed at 0.181ms. The S9V2 Ultimate also supports an RGB magnetic wireless charging dock and will come in Crimson Gold, Dark Silver and Ice Mist Blue. The company has not yet disclosed pricing or a launch date.
