GuliKit unveils the ES Max, a versatile wireless gamepad designed for competitive play across PC, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS, boasting innovative TMR thumbsticks and rapid response times.
GuliKit has expanded its esports-focused controller range with the ES Max, a wireless gamepad built around low-latency play and broad device support. The company says the model is intended for competitive PC use but also works with Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Android and iOS, with wired, Bluetooth and adapter-based wireless connections.
At the centre of the ES Max are new TMR thumbsticks, which GuliKit says use integrated angle sensors to read movement more precisely than conventional stick designs. The controller also includes detachable stick caps with stainless-steel anti-friction rings, plus an internal self-lubricating support structure intended to keep movement smooth and reduce wear.
GuliKit is also pushing response time. In wired mode, it claims up to 1,000Hz polling and button latency as low as 1.87ms. Over its Hyperlink 2 Bluetooth system, the company says the controller can reach 730Hz polling and 3.25ms latency. According to GuliKit, the goal is not simply higher polling figures but lower real-world delay. The ES Max ships with the Hyperlink 2 Bluetooth Controller Adapter, which GuliKit says can also be used with some third-party controllers to improve wireless stability.
The controller adds dual-mode triggers, allowing players to switch between a micro-switch setting for rapid actuation and a Hall-effect linear mode for more gradual input. Two rear buttons can be remapped, while other options carried over from the ES Pro include adjustable dead zones, anti-snapback handling through Adaptive Mode, three sensitivity levels, vibration adjustment, turbo functions, PC motion-assisted aiming, ABXY swapping and both four-way and eight-way D-pad modes. Switch and Switch 2 wake-up support is included, along with six-axis gyroscope support on Switch.
GuliKit has also launched its first dedicated app for Android and iOS, which supports controller customisation, firmware updates and saved profiles for different games. The ES Max uses a 950mAh lithium-polymer battery rated for about 30 hours of play. It measures 155 x 103 x 65mm, weighs about 233g without the wireless adapter and went on sale on August 11, 2026, in black only through GuliKit’s own channels and authorised retailers.
