INIU’s rugged power banks add weather sealing, emergency lights and laptop charging

INIU’s new Outdoor Rugged range combines IP67 protection, drop resistance and built-in torches, with capacities from 10,000mAh to 20,000mAh and output of up to 65W.

INIU has broadened its outdoor charging range with the Outdoor Rugged series, a pair of power banks built around hard-wearing cases, weather sealing and integrated emergency lighting. The line is aimed at users who carry power on hikes, trips or work outdoors, where resistance to dust, water and drops can matter as much as capacity.

According to INIU’s announcement, the new family comprises a 10,000mAh model and a 20,000mAh version. The smaller unit, called the Outdoor Rugged 10000, went on sale on 9 October in the brand’s official shop, while the company said the larger model would follow later. Both devices are rated IP67 for dust and water protection and are certified to MIL-STD-810G 516.6, which INIU says covers drops from up to 1.2 metres. The charging ports are covered with protective caps to help maintain the seal.

Portability is a key part of the design. Android Authority reported that the 10,000mAh model weighs 195.7g, while the 20,000mAh version comes in at 353.2g. Both include a detachable carabiner for clipping to a rucksack, and they also add a 1/4-inch thread for tripod mounting, a detail that may appeal to creators or campers who want a stable mounting point. Each model also carries a built-in torch with several modes, including red light and flashing output, which is intended to consume less power in low-light use.

Performance is split by capacity and intended device class. INIU says the Outdoor Rugged 10000 can recharge a typical smartphone twice and deliver up to 45W, enough for some cameras and drones. The 20,000mAh model raises output to 65W, making it more suitable for laptops. The company says both units include short-circuit and overheat protection, as well as a low-current mode for small accessories, and it is offering a five-year warranty. The 10,000mAh model is priced at $54.99, with availability listed on INIU’s own site and, according to reports from Android Authority and PhoneArena, on Amazon as well.
