JBL’s multi-platform Quantum 360X gaming headset hits a record-low $100

The JBL Quantum 360X Wireless is down from $150 to $100 on Amazon, offering 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity across consoles, PC and mobile devices.

For gamers who switch between a console and a PC, or who want one headset that can move between systems without fuss, the JBL Quantum 360X is being sold at a notably lower price on Amazon. PC Guide says the headset has fallen to $100, down from $150, which it describes as a record low and a cut of one-third. That puts it into a more competitive bracket for buyers weighing multi-platform convenience against more established gaming audio brands.

According to JBL’s own product information, the Quantum 360X Wireless is designed for Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac, with dual wireless support through 2.4GHz and Bluetooth. That combination allows the headset to stay linked to a games device while also accepting audio from a phone or tablet, a practical feature for players who want notifications, calls or chat audio alongside gameplay. JBL also says the model uses its QuantumSOUND Signature and includes a detachable boom microphone with a mute function.

Comfort appears to be another part of the appeal. JBL says the headset uses breathable fabric ear cushions and a lightweight design aimed at longer sessions, while PC Guide highlights memory foam padding as a key selling point. The company also quotes battery life of up to 22 hours, with quick charging support, which should be enough for most evening play sessions and shorter bursts across the week. In a crowded headset market, those are useful if not exceptional figures, but they do make the model easier to recommend for mixed-use gaming.

Sound customisation is handled through JBL’s QuantumENGINE PC software, with additional controls in the JBL Quantum App. JBL says users can adjust spatial audio, equaliser settings, sidetone and microphone behaviour, which gives the headset more flexibility than a basic plug-and-play model. That may matter most to players who want to fine-tune voice monitoring or game audio rather than relying on a fixed sound profile.

At the current price, the Quantum 360X looks like a straightforward option for anyone needing one headset across several devices. Competing models from brands such as SteelSeries remain strong alternatives, but the discount improves the value case for JBL’s offering, particularly for buyers prioritising wireless versatility and broad platform support over specialist esports features.
