Momax unveils the 1-Power S.Pass² Air, a slim magnetic power bank featuring semi-solid-state battery chemistry, advanced safety features, and stylish finishes, reshaping high-end portable charging.
Momax has widened its push into premium portable charging with the 1-Power S.Pass² Air, a magnetic power bank that combines a mirror-finish stainless steel shell with a 6.0mm profile. The company is positioning the device as an ultra-slim accessory for users who want a charger that sits neatly against a phone, then disappears into a pocket or clutch without adding much bulk.
The design emphasis is matched by a focus on battery safety. Momax says the unit uses semi-solid-state battery chemistry, a format that is being marketed across the category for improved resistance to heat and damage compared with conventional lithium-ion packs. The brand has also introduced an SS Assurance Mark programme, which it says covers certified semi-solid-state cells and in-house thermal and puncture stress tests. That safety narrative is becoming part of the product’s selling point, not just its engineering.
Specification details from Momax’s wider 1-Power S.Pass line suggest the broader family is built around fast magnetic charging as well as wired top-ups. The company’s product information for related models cites support for Qi2 wireless charging, up to 25W wireless output and 30W USB-C PD charging, alongside dual-device charging and thermal management features. Independent reviews have generally backed the practical appeal of the series, with GizGuide reporting strong real-world charging performance and little noticeable heat build-up, while TechRitual highlighted the semi-solid-state battery approach as a meaningful safety upgrade.
Momax is also extending the range’s visual identity. Alongside the stainless steel finish, the company has introduced a Dusky Cherry capsule palette and other colour options across the line, framing the charger as a design object as much as a utility item. Upcoming support in the Recharge Hub app is expected to add battery-health, wattage and temperature read-outs, which would give users more visibility into how the pack is performing during travel or daily use.
