Despite the release of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro remain a compelling buy, especially with significant price reductions and high praise for their noise cancellation, sound quality, and comfort.
Samsung’s newer Galaxy Buds 4 Pro may now sit at the top of its range, but the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro still look like a sensible buy, particularly at a sharply reduced price. Frandroid says the earbuds, which launched at €249, are currently on sale for €83.62 on AliExpress with a promo code, while still retaining the 9/10 score it gave them in testing. The publication says the unit sold through that offer is authenticated and shipped from France.
Part of their appeal is practical rather than flashy. Tom’s Guide and SamMobile both note the move to a stem design, which brings the controls closer to the behaviour of AirPods Pro-style earbuds and makes touch operation easier. Frandroid also highlights the comfort of the in-ear fit, the light weight of each bud at 5.4g, and the IP57 rating, which gives them resistance to dust, splashes and sweat.
Their strongest technical point remains active noise cancellation. Frandroid says the ANC does a very good job of dampening low-frequency noise, making the earbuds useful in offices and other busy environments. Tom’s Guide likewise describes the noise cancellation as effective, while SamMobile notes the emphasis Samsung placed on improved internals and Galaxy AI features such as voice controls and interpreter tools, although some of those functions remain more useful on Galaxy devices than on rival phones.
Sound quality is another reason they still warrant attention. Samsung’s own specifications, as reflected by SamMobile and PhoneArena, point to dual amplifiers, dual drivers, Bluetooth 5.4, SSC support and near-lossless transmission with compatible Galaxy phones. Frandroid says the result is a broad soundstage, strong bass and convincing separation, while battery life is also competitive at close to six hours with ANC enabled and about eight hours without it, rising further with the charging case. TechRadar adds that the dual-driver setup is intended to improve bass and treble performance, reinforcing the sense that these remain well-rounded premium earbuds rather than merely discounted stock.
