Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 offer disrupts premium earbuds market with aggressive pricing

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 are now available at a significantly reduced price on Mercado Livre, offering advanced features like active noise cancellation and Galaxy AI integration at a new accessible level for consumers, challenging the high-end earbud segment.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 are being sold on Mercado Livre at a sharply reduced price, with Canaltech reporting that the earbuds can be bought for R$ 846 via Pix after the OFFNOMELI coupon is applied, with free delivery included. The promotion places Samsung’s standard new-generation model well below the Pro version and makes it a more accessible entry point for buyers who want active noise cancellation, Galaxy AI features and tighter integration with Samsung phones.

According to Canaltech, the Buds 4 combine an in-ear design with 24-bit/96 kHz Hi-Res audio, improved ANC and support for Bixby, Google Gemini and Perplexity. Samsung has also added head gestures, which let users answer or reject calls and control playback without touching the earbuds. That feature set is part of a broader shift in the line towards more software-driven interaction, rather than relying only on touch controls on the stems.

The appeal is not just the feature list but the fit. Canaltech says the regular Buds 4 do not use silicone tips, unlike the Pro model, which should make them more comfortable for longer listening sessions. Samsung also refined the ear shape design using data from millions of ear scans, while adding an ambient sound mode for users who want to hear more of their surroundings. Audio is handled by a two-way speaker system, and Samsung’s Super Clear Call technology uses machine learning to improve voice clarity during calls.

The discount also changes the value equation against other premium earbuds. Canaltech notes that the Buds 4 Pro recently sold for R$ 1,899, underlining how much cheaper the standard model is at this price. SpaceMoney reported a separate Mercado Livre offer in May 2026 at R$ 1,205 after coupon and Pix payment, still with free shipping, showing that prices have moved within a broad promotional range. Android Central and SamMobile, meanwhile, have highlighted the series’ launch features, including improved ANC, pinch controls, 360 audio support on the Pro model, head gestures and Samsung’s Auto Switch and Live Translate tools, reinforcing that the Buds 4 line is designed to be most persuasive inside the Galaxy ecosystem. For iPhone users, the AirPods 4 with ANC remains the more natural choice, but for Samsung owners this offer makes the Buds 4 the more compelling buy.
