Sanwa Supply launches the BTL-RDC46, a lightweight, middle-ground power bank offering 100W AC power and multiple charging options, catering to travellers and disaster preparedness markets alike.
Sanwa Supply has added a new compact power pack that sits between a large power bank and a full-size portable power station. The BTL-RDC46 carries 76.8Wh, or 24,000mAh, and weighs about 0.94kg. In practical terms, Sanwa Supply says it is roughly the size of a 500ml drinks bottle, which makes it small enough to carry without treating it like campsite equipment, but substantial enough to serve as a backup supply for travel, outdoor use and emergencies.
Its headline feature is AC output of up to 100W. That is not enough for appliances that demand heavy power, such as kettles, microwave ovens or high-output heaters, so it is not a substitute for a proper portable power station. Even so, Sanwa Supply says it can handle lower-draw devices such as fans, portable refrigerators, electric blankets and small panel heaters. That makes it more useful than the label “mobile battery” might suggest, particularly for car camping, overnight stays in vehicles and short power outages.
The unit is also built around modern charging options. According to Sanwa Supply, it includes two USB Type-C ports and four USB Type-A ports, with the Type-C ports supporting USB Power Delivery up to 65W, enough to charge many notebooks. That means phones, tablets and laptops can be powered at the same time, while the AC socket remains available for older gear or accessories that still rely on mains power. Sanwa Supply also says an LED light is built in, with four lighting modes for use in the dark.
The battery uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry, which the company says is intended to improve safety and extend service life. At ¥41,800 before tax, it is not inexpensive for a battery of this size, but the positioning is clear: this is a middle-ground product for people who want AC output without the bulk of a larger power station. Sanwa Supply is pitching it both for business trips and for disaster preparedness, which reflects a growing market for compact devices that can bridge the gap between everyday charging and emergency backup power.
